I've passed everything to be a border patrol agent, but Im not medically cleared, because my uncorrected vision is worse than 20/100, Im thining about getting Lasik surgery on my eyes, but if that does not work out are there other similar jobs that don't require the vision factor?? I'd like to still use my spanish language skills, but I don't want to work as a secretary sitting in an office all day making less than 30k a year.

Speaking as a 911 dispatcher, we can always use bi-lingual people behind the radio too. I hope you get to do what you really want to, but in case the problem with your eyes holds you back, consider being a dispatcher. (and we make really good money, have great benefits, and get to tell the officers "where to go")
