I had lasik about two months ago.. i feel like my vision is getting worst each day, not as bad as it used to?
Question:
Answer:
After your surgery, the doctor should follow up with you on a regular basis. You should have had a follow-up already. If not, I would call the doctor and explain the situation to him. It is possible that your eyes are still adjusting. It takes almost 3 months for your eyes to fully "see" the corrected vision. If anything, it should only get better and not worse.
I'd make an appt. if I were you.
Call the doc to did the surgery to schedule a follow up appointment. It might be a typical side effect and nothing to worry about, however, if it's something serious the longer you wait the more difficult it might be to repair any damage.
See your eye doctor for a follow-up visit/eye exam to measure your vision. If your vision has deteriorated, ask her what she will do to make it right.
I would suggest that you go see you eye doctor (not the person who did the lasik) and have him check your vision - there maybe something else going on not necessarily connected to the lasik surgery. Your eye sight is precious, have it checked out as soon as possible.
good luck to you
The most common side effects of LASIK eye surgery are dry eyes and glare. The incidence of these are debated between proponents and opponents of the surgery. The FDA considers the risks to be low enough to approve the technology required for LASIK (microkeratomes, excimer lasers, etc.)
I would recommend contacting your doctor as soon as possible.
There is a good San Diego Lasik website. It has lots of info and some very informative Lasik articles. See the links below:
