It could harm your eyes if you don't clean them well, or if you use a prescription that you don't need. Just make sure you only use them as long as you're supposed to and clean, only wear them up to 10 hours, and keep them clean.
If they are sitting the right way on your eyes then yes. Very safe. Make sure you have the ones just for color and not perscription cause they can damage your eyes. I would be like putting on someone elses glass.

With regular use, contacts can create build up in your eye that can slowly eat at your 20/20.
I’ve always had problems with my eyes.
I’m currently 20/450 in the left, and 20/475 in the right. [Which means what an average person can see from 450/475 feet away only comes into focus for me at 20 feet].
Contacts help get me there, so I’ve switched to glasses and they’ve help slow down my vision loss.
I don’t suggest color contacts just for vanity
they are very safe for your eyes. ive had colored contacts since the 7th grade and my vision has only improved since then so the contacts cannot possibly be doing any harm to me. go for it!
NO they are not they are acuttaly very bad for your eyes and u should not use them i used them once and my eyes turned bloodshot red it was very bad for them and i had to go to the eyedoctor he had to poke a needle in my eye while i was awake and surgically get rid of the blood lines while i was awake
NO not harmful at all..I've been using them a lot.they are very safe.just make sure you wear them properly and clean them very well.The down side is that you might get used to them and not like your natural colour afterwards.One advice..if you meet someone always tell them this is not your real colour if they compliment.It will be too late to take it back if things get serious...
Coloured contacts are just as safe as the clear ones.
Definatly not. I wore them to make my eyes electrical blue year ago and tehre was no harm done. But it depends on your eyes.
I actually have 2 pairs, blue and green and I have PERFECT vision. Never worn glasses or contacts for any reason other tthan "fashion". I got contacts as an accessory and love them. I do not wear them everyday. I pick and choose and treat them like makeup. :) You do need to care for them and have clean hands. There are precautions. But tell your eye doctor what you want and they can steer you the right direction for you.
