Is laser vision correction safe in patients with diabetes?

Question:
i will like to know..cause im thinking bout getting it done..let me know please..

Answer:
Diabetes effects the eyes in many ways... it would be a good idea to have a thorough eye exam to be sure there are no anomalies first. Likely the physician doing the laser correction is aware of that. Be sure to discuss the diabetes with him/her and get all questions - both yours and theirs - answered first.
no way. leave your eyes alone. you will have enough problems in the future with eyes, liver and kidneys... you look cool in your glasses.it is NOT worth the risk!
