11 Days after Lasik. 1 Eye still blurry?
Question:
Answer:
Yeah, it's because it's dry. I had Lasix done on May 16th. They had to put plugs in my eyes before the surgery. My right eye was like yours for about 2 weeks. Don't worry, it will get better. It's been a month now and they feel like normal. My doctor recommended for me to use Systane lubrication drops for the first 30-45 days as well as lubricant eye ointment at night. He also suggested I take Flax Seed Oil. It will help build up the natural tear film in your eyes. It's also good for a numerous health things. I hope I helped. :)
It will clear up. Your results are awesome so far! Keep using the drops for dry eye. I had Lasik 2 years ago and I am 20/15 in both eyes. I remember going through the dry eye phase. It is frustrating, especially at night when you are driving! I promise you will be thrilled before you know it, dry eyes are part of the process. It is worse for some.
could be b/c of dryness, but could also be lots of other things..residual astigmatism, residual myopia, wrinkles in the flap, etc etc etc ad nauseum. some of those could clear up with time and no other treatment, some of those may need further treatment to clear up, some of those are not fixable. 11 days is not all that long. you really wont know if this is easily fixable or not for quite some time...months.
you know most ophthalmologists consider the surgery a "success" if the vision is better than 20/40. so if you are 20/15 and 20/20...even if YOU think its blurry, the ophthalmologist has already deemed you a "success" in both eyes in his reports/records.
