Who has had Lasik and were you happy with the result?

Also how long a period of time was it after the procedure that you had your best final vision? I had my right eye done on Friday and my vision in that eye is less than 20/20. I wondered whether any people experienced significant improvements after a few days, a week, a month, etc?

Answer:
Usually it takes a day or two to rid the sensitivity and then sight increased for my husband within a few days..he reads a lot for a living (lawyer) and at times pulls out the low power mag glasses when he reads too much of the SMALL FINE HIDDEN print...he..he..he...

If you think it isn't right, the follow up visit will tell and usually an adjustment can be done...good luck!

you should have better than 20/20 within a week

The day after my procedure, I had 20/15 in both eyes. After a month I had 20/8 which is the best the human eye can be, which my doctor called it eagle eyes... It takes time to heal, but the most important thing is that everyone heals differently. Make sure to use the moisture drops as much as u can this helps with the healing and so does the medicine that you got for your eyes. I am very very happy with my results and would never give it a second thought to having it done again.

Don't worry it will be just fine in a few more days. My boyfriend had it a few years ago and his vision is now excellent, it took about a week for excellent vision, in his case.
