Can one become a U.S. military pilot with surgically corrected vision?

Question:
Lasik, etc.

Answer:
Lasik no, but PRK yes. In the Lasik procedure a flap is cut around the eye and that flap has a tendency to not heal fully and may become dislodged in flight due to pressure changes. PRK recontours the surface of the eye itself. that is what the military is doing for the pilots i have talked to.
yes, but you can't be a fighter pilot.
