LasikPlus eye correction...?

Question:
I had LasikPlus eye correction two months ago, and my vision is still blurry. The doctor says to wait and see what happens, but I think I'm going to need a follow-up procedure. Has anyone else experienced this? Can it get better without another surgery?

Answer:
It is not uncommon to need an enhancement procedure after the initial LASIK. Just for info, the enhancement is usually a lot easier than the initial procedure.

We recommend waiting three months after the initial procedure and you must have enough corneal tissue left to do the procedure. You also will have to go through the entire workup that you did for the first procedure.

Also, remember that sometimes having one eye working to see things close up and one for distance is an excellent option, this is called mono-vision, so you may want to talk with your doc and see if this could be an option for you.

I hope things work out well for you!!
