Lasik Eye Surgery?

Question:
Has anyone done lasik eye surgery? I am doing it 2 weeks later, heard that you will get blurry vision at night? How blur is it. Can you accept it. Thanks. Is the facility in Singapore better than in Malaysia?

Answer:
every person has it different
My fiancee had it done 4 years ago and the only problem he has is dry eyes.
It depends, just make sure the Dr is reputable
I can no longer see out of my left eye, the doctor sneezed
I had LASIK in 2000. The night vision issues are related to the machine that is used and your pupil size. What happens is that at night, when the pupils dilate more, the edge of the pupil can meet the edge of the ablated area, and that's what causes the halos and blurs. Make sure your doctor measures your pupil in darkness. Different lasers can handle different areas. I know technology is much better now than when I did it, but there was only one back then that could handle my prescription.

Do your homework! Some doctors just want the money and may approve a bad candidate to get it. But you get the right doctor and it's the best money you will ever spend.
I got it done for my 2 children 8 years back and they have no
problem of any kind. Go to reputed, experienced and competent
eye specialist only. Good luck.
LAsik Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges lasik surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as lasik surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your laser surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

What done is already over, don't worry. Let it be. For your information, there was an articles about this "Lasik Eye Surgery" in the Straits Times a few months ago, where the reporter interview a few of the top surgeons "why they are wearing spectacles". The surgeons told the reporter that the side effect is not known yet that why they themselves not doing. Have you notice our previous health ministers also never do it.
i've accompnied my bf when he consulted doctor about lasik. see this http://allexperienced.com/lasik/lasik.ht... it roughly summarizes the procedures; and says a bit about post-surgery stuff. hope it helps ;)
