Where can I learn about shorting and going long on stocks?

Question: I am looking to learn about the tactics and web sites where I can go and create a trading account.

Answer:
I'd like to know what the heck "long" and "short" is too...I hear it alot.


As far as a good trading site: SHAREBUILDER.COM I use it. There are NO minimums (you don't have to start with some huge amount of money...like some of the other sites).

Lots of info on there. Look around.
