Has anybody else encountered solicitors after using Morningstar.com?
Question:
Now, I get constant phone calls from semi-legitimate firms offering different stocks or funds, but these guys sound straight out of the movie "Boiler Room" - strong Northern Jersey accents with little idea what the cr@p stock actually does. They always ask how my quarter is going and what I can do this quarter, etc? Just a nuisance.
Anybody else run into this with Morningstar.com or another service, if so, please share.
Yeah, I know Morningstar.com sold my name for XYZ amount of money, but for being the nation's weather vane on fund performance, do you think this is out of left field for them?
(BTW, I know it's Morningstar.com because I accidently misspelled my name on the account and it's funny to hear the missprounced name each time.)

I have had the same experience. The multitude of pop up Windows is equally annoying.
Well thank you for the heads up because I wont be doing business with a company that sells my name or my business history to the hightest bidder. Thanks
