Amazon.com never processed a book order of mine , then put my check for a book ordered?

into an "account" they said i can use to pay for future orders, cuz now they say they don't have the book in stock. when i try to use the$ in the account, they wont accept it for orders -so what happens to the$ of mine that thet put into an "account"? do they just keep my $? i basically feel like i'v been told to piss off.

Contact them. Why are you posting on Yahoo about it?
File a complaint with your bank. They will investigate it and help you if Amazon is being difficult. I was in this situation once with my bank as well for something I ordered online.
