I am a CPA, I hate auditing and dislike accounting, but I am learning to love the stock market - Job Ideas?

Question:
I've worked at a big four accounting firm for almost 2 years now in audit, passed the cpa exam, but I really hate audit and accounting certainly does not appeal to me. I have become very interested in the stock market, through shows like "Mad Money" and "Fast Money" and magazine and books. What are some good jobs out there I could pursue?

Answer:
go work at a hedge fund. they have accounting departments there who are unlike many of the boring CPA firms.and pay MUCH better too. you will be involved with the trades they do and you'll get to personally pick the brains of traders. maybe one day you can move onto the trading floor and be your own mini version of jim cramer.

good luck
What about going for a CFA?

Since you work at an accounting firm, perhaps there is an aspect of the practice that lends itself to financial planning (at a minimum, tax planning) for clients.
