I recently opened an account with Zecco and put in $1000. I can't start trading stocks until I meet the required minimum of $2500. I was wondering if the $1000 earns any interest.

No, I don't think there is earning interest.
you sure about that because zecco (who I do not recommend or endorse) recently offered 1k to open accounts. After that I really don't know (and personally could care less)
