Just one Broker Account needed?

Question: I live in Singapore. As i'm very new to investing, how should i go about finding one broker that allows me to buy both local and foreign stocks (eg.US)? Is it possible? Plus, this account should also allow me to buy indices ETFs

Investing in stocks is a risky option for a new investor. Why Dont you invest in forex trading where you can trade yourself without the need of a broker.
