You dont mind this robust economy , do you ?

Question:
we all have money in our pocket , cable tv , internet , jobs , central air cond , savings accounts , the stock market is great , interest rates are low , the clinton years never saw the economy this good , so shut up about Bush !

Answer:
We have a robust economy? Hmmm... Must have missed that in the outsourcing, the stagnate wages, the concentration of Wealth, The CEO's making some 400 times what the average worker makes, the health care crisis, the ballooning deficit spending on an illegal war and that is just to start.

Hey as long as the economy's good, who cares if thousands of young American soldiers have died for a war fought on false pretenses? And the constitution is over-rated, who needs it. Am I right?
Hey Genius,
I will say what I want about Bush and he has done nothing for me. You need to get into the real world. Obviously there are many areas of this country you have not visited. Sorry.I don't see all the robust..unless you happen to work for Halliburton and I hear it is doing very very well. Little blood on the money doesn't hurt too bad does it? Some soldier dying for the mighty Bush ego.hey he enlisted.right?? Bush is a plague on the USA and he needs impeachment. Shut up?? You just try to silence my voice. I will say whatever I want whenever I want. It is my right under the constitution. Furthermore, I would rather be flat broke the rest of my life than have the river of blood that has run because of your hero. Lies, mismanagement, incompetence, riding roughshod over the will of the people...yea, good moral man.
ROBUST!?!?!

For the wealthy perhaps. Gas, beef, milk all at all time highs for pricing. The middle class being squeezed out yet being forced to pay for the majority of our bloated federal budget. Housing industry in the toilet. Interest rates raising. Energy costs skyrocketing.

Yeah, it's a wonderful world.

Bush SUCKS.
robust?? You are kidding, right? Could you explain to me why the rate of foreclosure houses are on the highest level in history?
Yet, while they sit in their air conditioned house, playing on their high speed internet, flipping through the 150+ channels on their digital cable TV, getting ready for a BBQ and fireworks and able to do so because they have a job and their doctor takes good care of them.
They will still whine and moan about something.
I'm of the belief that the radical left are nothing short than just a bunch of miserable people that are incapable of being grateful for anything they have.

To the person above me. That high foreclosure rate happens when people take loans that they have no business taking. Mortgage company's are all about making a profit. They'll loan to anybody. If a person doesn't have the basic intelligence to know whether they can handle a mortgage, they should just continue renting.
income growing less than the cost of living is not a robust economy. the middle class is dying. soon we will have only the rich and the poor. people have to choose between putting gas in their car to get to their minimum wage job and buying food for their children. then, wacko conservatives argue that to help them would take opportunity away from someone else. don't talk about healthcare. a thrity minute visit to the ER for pneumonia while only getting to see the doctor for 5 minutes cost me $900. people are dying because they can't get the medical care they need. so no, i won't shut up about bush. bush cares only about the rich who line his pockets. he has no clue about the 80% out there who struggle every day.
I guess you're one of the lucky ones who haven't lost their job to illegals and from their company being outsourced to China who thanks us by poisoning our food. You must be living in some dream world because you certainly are not representing the voice of the citizens - or weren't you listening to the outcry of citizens when Bush tried to shove his amnesty bill down our throats. He is a traitor to our country and should be impeached for treason in a time of war - a war that only he knows why he's fighting. He lost the support of Americans a long time ago. I think he should become the next president of Mexico with the people who think he's a wonderful person. Then they can find out how the Bush agenda really works - first lies and then betrayal.

I feel sorry for the next elected president as we have a lifetime of mess to clean up from Bush's destruction. How in the world will we ever be able to pay all the debt he has left the generations to follow for his legacy?
Hey Brainiac,
Most peoples wages are stuck in the 1970's/1980's when one compares food, housing, car prices.....

What a rich and vivid dream world you live in! I was doing great in the Clinton years. Then that idiot entered the White House and it all went away. The economy crashed, I was laid off, my wife was laid off. Both of the companies that we worked for are now owned by other companies. There were no jobs for several years during your "fantasy savior's" administration. But let's flash forward to the here and now. While I'm back on track, my wife makes a fraction of what she once made. On a more positive note, Haliburton's making, what was it I read, an 800% increase in profit. Thank you shrubbie for that. And you, my friend, are not one of those folks who is pawning their items in order to pay for the gas to get to work so you're apparently OK with that. None of you family members or friends have gone overseas to die for those record profits. But let's focus this discussion on your little world. Those record profits are being reflected now in increase food prices across the board. I've seen anywhere from 15-30% increase in items I buy at the grocery store. Did you get a 15-30% raise at your last review? I can't recall what the jump in gas prices was, but let's say it was only 20%. Did you get a 20% bump in pay? How about if we focus on the cost of running that central air conditioning? Energy prices are tied to the fuels required to produce them. My local power Co. just bumped up rates 20%, but that's OK, because like you, I got a 20% raise last review. (WOW. this fantasy is GREAT!) So unless you got a bump in your income of at least 15% you just lost a whole lot of spending ability. BUT WAIT, the best is yet to come! You see, shrubbie, that bastion of good sense and conservatism has been spending the governments money like the proverbial drunken sailor. He has been what you GOP types envision Democrats to be fiscally! OH YEAH! And you just have to know that those chickens will come home to roost sometime. So here we are, with the poor still too poor to provide much of a tax base, and the middle class diminished and struggling. Much of what was our economic base has been outsourced to Mexico (production), India (technology), China (consumer goods and produce) and other far-flung lands. Let's see..who is going to pay for shrubbies excesses? At some point in the very near future it really won't matter whether it's a Democrat or a Republican in the Oval Office because the wealthy will be supporting it all.
I agree, some people just have their heads in the sand.
But then again, it depends on your point of view.
Some liberals complain that because of Bush, unemployment cannot be collected as long as it was when Clinton was president. They could be on unemployment for 6 more months then current. Darn, you can't sit at home anymore collecting a government paycheck for doing nothing. So, a good economy to some means, how easy it is to get free money.
