My idea to cut down on bribes accepted by politicians?

Question:

My idea is to make it into law that if a politician is caught of accepting bribes, then all their assets (stocks, investments, houses bank accounts, EVERYTHING) would be liquidated and the funds would be given to the person they accepted the bribe from. This way, politicians won't even talk to someone that can make them look like they are accepting a bribe for they think it could be a sting. What do you think?

Instead of giving the funds to the person who gave them the bribe...

How about giving it to our schools, our medical system, or use it do reduce the national debt.

But there has to be ways, to ensure they dont just hide assests in family member's names.

You can also hang then upside down while they have to listen to a screaming match between Hillary and Nancy Pelosi

I think politicians make the laws and they would never pass such strict penalties against them self. Nice thought though, but wouldn't the money be better used if it benefited his constituents? Offering a bribe is a crime too...
