What stock brokerage accounts are fee-free with no minimum number of transactions?

Question:
And you can open the account online with a credit card, such that the opening deposit is charged as a purchase on the credit card?

Answer:
When I opened my sharebuilder.com account, my option to fund the account was through check or online transfer from my bank. All brokerages charges some fees for certain events, you need to read about the firm that you want to open account with and see their fee charges.
zecco.com offers 40 free trades per month, each brokerage has some free things but you need to read and inform yourself about the one you chose to go with.
None. Some offer a certain number of free transactions per month. Brokerage companies provide a service and they have to earn commissions in order to stay in business. companies like E*Trade and Interactive Brokers charge small commissions. IB charges $1 per trade in most cases of small trades and their commissions on options are much lower than other brokers.

Ask the brokerage company if they will accept a credit card to open an account. Probably not, but I can't say for sure.
