I need to know a way to save my money wisely . I mean you could put it in the bank but then after while everybody would be askin questions . Is there a way for me to hide it or put it to good use . I mean put it under someone elses name in a account that only I could touch it . Or a security deposit box that I could put cashier checks that would never go old and will have the same value for years . But there has to be a better wayy . I want to buy a house and stuff . there has to be a way to put the money down . Or invest without nobody saying anythin . Bonds , stock market , real estating , auctionning . Also Credit , how can i accumalate credit to a point where my name is on a positive note because I have never held a credit card or have I ever had anythin in my name . All that will change
First, keeping money in Bank Savings for everyday expenses is necessary but you should keep it to only what you need for day to day expenses for 3 months. Keep as much of these "liquid" assets in CD that give you 5%.

What you should do to save for the future is:
1. Open a 401k with your employerer. Almost all companies match 50 cents to every dollar you invest up to 6% of your weekly or monthly paycheck (varies by company, mine matches 100% dollar for dollar up to 6%.)

2. Do some homework first, research what stocks, bonds, funds are doing. There are alot of great sources including Yahoo Finance but check out www.fool.com.

3. Cut back discretionary spending. You have to eat, but find cheaper alternatives to recreation.

Good Luck.
