Does anyone know of FOREIGN STOCK BROKERS on FOREIGN STOCK EXCHANGES (Latin America, Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe, Emerging Stock Exchanges) that are online brokers? Where you can apply to open online trading account(s) COMPLETELY online? Without the need of a passport or mailing forms? I am in the process of opening a brokerage account in Iceland- they received my application forms January 1, 2006. I got a passport in the fall just to open this account and still waing for their review. It's taking longer than i thought. Thank you.

You can buy foreign stocks on American exchanges through American Depository Receipts (ADR's). Why you would want to pummel yourself with a different country's rules are beyond me.
