What is the difference between DAILY STOCK ACCOUNT & PLA(Personal Ledger Account)?

These terms are used in central excise.
Daily Stock is maintained in daily Stock register by manufacturer.
PLA is a term which is used for maintaining Register having entries of cash excise duty deposited by a manufacturer through TR-6 challan and it is debited when excise duty is paid.
Daily stock a/c means it tells about the daily incomes, outgoings of stock on day -to-day basics. pla tells the central excise duty details on the basics of sale and purchases on periodecally and net amount of balance on u r company a/c
