1990 454 ss?
Question:
Answer:
I would say the $9000 is a fair price for the truck. Most people have a love/hate relationship with the 454SS trucks. They look awesome, but I think most people just expect more horsepower out of the 454. In general, the stock 454 is pretty low horsepower, averaging 230-260 depending on year. But I am getting off subject. The trucks sounds like its a great deal, and you are being very honest about what has been done to the truck. I personally would think the truck is worth the $9000 so I would say take it.
I live in Oklahoma and I have only seen three of these trucks in person. So I think you are lucky to have one of a few of an awesome truck Chevy produced so few of.
First of all these trucks were dogs.Grossly underpowered the 454 engine only put out 170 horsepower and they giltzed it up with a ton of crappy badging and other junk. And the handling was horrid. They are not worth much in any circle let alone as a collectible vehicle. As for a value with the fact that it is not 100 % original "you installed the leveling kit" I would say around $3K to 4.5K though it might be hard even getting that much.
Take the money and run ,don't walk to the bank! You could get an Avalanche with a 498 in it in the early 2000 to mid 2005 ,I believe
I think you should take the 9K and run. Most of us true truck lovers hate when people lower trucks to make them look like cars!!!!
$9k going once,
why do you want to get rid of it?
$9k going twice,
do you have a complete history on it?
sounds like your asking us to tell you what you want to hear?
