but my question is, how can i get it assessed or analyzed and actually tell me if its a good idea, i told my buddies and they thought it was a great idea

Write up your idea and mail it to yourself. When you get it in the mail don't open it and keep it in a safe place. This is your proof that you invented it first. Talk to a patent attorney about filing a patent and who should assess your idea. Always have them sign a non-disclosure agreement.

put up a picture and description on here. you'll get lots of answers i assure you. after that, take it to a patent place and get your name on it asap.

before you go around telling anyone you should get it patented. Your buddies may think it is a really great idea and take it from you.

You have to tell us about the idea first before we can tell you what to do with it. Give a detailed description, complete with drawings or whatever you have. No one will steal your idea.
