Ideas for something to buy and sell on ebay please?
Question:
Answer:
I have found after 4 years of selling on Ebay that they only items that sell well are items that are one of a kind or unique. These get great prices. Everyday items do not do well and they have lost their appeal to the consumers who can go to Walmart.
Ebay keeps raising their fees, it never stops. I have been selling new items on Ebay and have found it harder and harder to make a profit.
Here is what I have to pay out:
Ebay listing fees
Ebay extra fees (photos, bold etc)
Ebay final value fees
Paypal fees (almost everyone pays with paypal and it cost you)
materials to ship fees
Constant Ink Cartridges for Printer (lots of paperwork to save)
Office Supplies (notepads, felt tip markers etc)
Hours and Hours of Time to List and Manage Listings and time
is worth money. Any job pays you for your time, not Ebay)
With all these costs, I am not lucky if I make a dollar or two per item. This is not worth my time. I closed my store (there are store fees too) and now sell only to unload stock. I will no longer sell new items on Ebay and will use the auction site only to get rid of items I no longer want.
I have found with used items that you can make more money at a garage sale than on Ebay. On Ebay items over $5 do not seem to sell. Ebay like you to list at one penny or one dollar to motivate buyers but nowadays things dont get multiple bids and you sell them for the listed price.
If you are going to sell any item on Ebay make sure it is unique and something hard to find. That is the only way you will do well.
i dont know there are so much that people would by and i think that u need to just get alot of things together and then sale and then ull make money something that u dont think that someone would buy they will there is someone out there that would like what ever u are trying to sale but i think that u migh have some luck with car things
Nevada Pokerqueen sums it up perfectly.
My only tip is not to buy anything to sell unless it is in a box suitable for subsequent shipping to your customer when it is sold.
Check out the Discount stores at http://ewebproducts.com Some of the stuff is over 80% off. Making things appealing is a function of the ad you create.
