How much does it cost to patent an invention?

Question:

Answer:
The biggest part of the coart is getting a lawyer to write, submit and prosecute the patent. You can figure a minimum of $10,000 to do it.
Call the US Patent office. It depends on the complexity of your invention. You would be very surprised to sometimes find that something you want to patent which isn't on the market yet (or nonexistant), is already patented by someone else.

Depending on what your invention is patenting can range from around 50 Benjamins to thousands.

Call the US Patent office.
