The word of God began when He first spoke. We have it recorded in the Book of Genesis. But it seems to have pre-dated the creation of the world and the universe, according to Isaiah 14.
God technically "spoke" the world into existence.
The word "God" would have developed a teh languages that fed and became the English language developed. No real date. It would have followed the evolution of the languages.
