What drywall is best for a bathroom in Florida, and how do I make the concrete wall behind it waterproof?

I am doing the work myself and need ideas on products I should use to waterproof the entire area.
There is a window above the tub which I would like to replace with a fan and glass blocks.

use greenboard in the bathroom--use drylock on your block wall ---never paint masonry --it wont stick -- especally if its deteriorating
Use the green sheetrock and paint it with oil baised paint not latex.
