The tree limb cutting tool was quite interesting. I can see that appearing somewhere in a Skymall catalogue.
I caught only two episodes, and quite frankly it seems like a really dumb show, not unlike American idol. The show seems to be about the people and abilities completely unrelated to the inventions, when it should be about the merit of the inventions themselves.
I really don't care how horrible someone's life was in a foreign country (the bike guy), how theatrical someone can be (the pole receiving trainer guy), or how well someone can fake tears (just about everyone on the show). Why are the judges making the inventors do such dumb things?
Show me, instead, how INVENTIVE they are. Isnt that what the show is called? American INVENTOR.
