Do you think people with brialliant minds: artists, inventors..live longer or shoter lives and why?

They seem to live shorter lives. I think it has to do with hard living and all of the excess drinking and drug use that runs rampant in their circles. Stereotypically they are alcoholics with drug problems. Be it prescription drugs or street drugs there seems to be a problem. There is also a lot of sex and heartbreak involved in their lives. All of the above stated things happen because they are very passionate people. They need an outlet and that is typically what they choose. I can say all of this because I am an artist myself and run in those circles. I said stereotypically, but I see it on a daily basis.
