Which invention won on 'American Inventor?"?
Question:
Answer:
Janusz Liberkowski, inventor of the Spherical Safety Seat.
Here's about the Spherical Safety Seat
and stuff!
A new kind of infant car seat where the baby sits inside nested spheres instead of the usual seat. In a collision, the spheres spin and automatically position the child's neck and back so that they are perpendicular to the impact force, thus shielding the baby from the destructive force of the impact.
Janusz Liberkowski, 52, is a mechanical engineer in San Jose, California. He and his wife are the loving parents of one-and-a-half year old twins. Janusz' older daughter Anecia passed away in a car accident seven years ago, which inspired Janusz to create this revolutionary seat, in the hopes that it will save children's lives. Janusz and his wife are very active in their local Polish community.
