I have an idea for returning our most wasted energy back into the system, thus cutting emissions. It should be relatively easy to set up globally, and would have health benefits for the individual as well. What I want to know is, who can I contact about this idea? And can I patent an idea (it has no actual invention as such)?

I think you need to draw your idea out. That will make you think carefully about it. Then you could Copyright the drawings, & go from there. Check out Friends of the Earth web-site, make contacts...

no one really cares about recycling, theres not enough money in it
Instead of trying to patent this idea or try to contact it why not just share it. I mean if you really want to help out the earth don't get greedy and try to get a money deal out of this.
Seriously when people say save the planet they should say save the people cause the planet don't need our saving...it's done nicely for 4.5 billion years with or without us.
