Question:

I am in the cleaning business and here is our secret!
Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out….hope this helps…Steve
I have used a "safety razor" on mine. I got a box of them from Home Depot. It doesn't scratch the glass but gets all the cooked on grease off.
It sound like he is talking about microfibre cloths, I,ve got lots of them and they are the best cloths I have personally brought, but, I cant get my glass oven door clean with just a cloth of any type. I have had to use a wire-wool scourer!
Mr Muscle foaming oven cleaner. Take the door off, lay it flat, spray it, leave for an hour, wash/scrape it clean. Any residual stains can be dealt with by a second application, this time scraping with a Stanley knife blade (CAREFUL!). Repeat on the other door. Wear rubber gloves.
A razor blade .does the trick every time.I also use a metal scrapper on oven shelves
You can use oven cleaner on it. Put it down on several layers of newspaper or plastic and spray it down, let sit, wipe down with paper towels and then rinse in the sink before reinstalling.
try soaking it in biological washing powder with warm water, that usually works for me.
hope this helps you.
Oven door glass is very tough so you can likely use some oven cleaner and spray and wipe.

If the stain is stubborn, try spraying some water or put some dish soap on the stain and using superfine stainless steel, wipe the stain off. The soap acts like a lubricant minimizing the scratches on the surface you are cleaning while getting the benefit of to scraping action on the stain.

Always remember to test a small area first before using a chemical or technique you have not used before on the surface you are cleaning.
DIY store have window paint scrapers that take stanley knife blades.answer to a maidens prayer.
mr muscle won't do it. you need a carbon remover. It is sold in small screw capped cans and is less than a fiver from the hardware shop. I can't remember the manufacturer but it is called "Carbon Remover". It is like a jelly - paint it on in the evening, clean it off in the morning.
I use Cif cream, the rough side of a sponge scouring pad and lots of elbow grease.
I soak mine in washing powder and hot water then i use a wire scourer you can buy them from the supermarket and it works a treat for me!!!!
