Who were the inventors of the Industrial Revolution, and what did they invent?
Question:
Answer:
that is one complex question. Im not sure if there actually was an inventor or inventors for the revolution. It was just a series of events that led to dramatic change in society. I'm going to assume you are referring to the United States(thats all I know) because every society undergoes their form of industrial revolution. In fact, China is going through theirs right now.
The Rockefeller played a large role in the expansion of goods nationwide through the railway. james Watt developed the Stream Engine. Eli whitney increased cotton production in the south with the cotton gin. Henry Ford created mass production. Robert Fulton got the steamboat running.

the most significant invention was probably the newcomen engine, which made it much easier to mine coal, made railroads more practical, and more or less revolutionized the way people manufacture things. invented by john (?) newcomen.
along with this came the advent of the factory- textile mills and other manufacturing plants. in america, take a look at the history of the town of lowell, massachusetts, and for the UK look at manchester.
if i think of anything else significant i'll make an edit.
James Watt - Improved steam engine
