Astronomy Senior project question ..what do they mean by producing a product?
Question:
"Physical product
One must create a physical product. This demonstrates mastery of a skill as outlined in the early stages of the Senior Project, and 'proves' that the student successfully worked on the project. "
What is the product ? mine is on getting started right in astronomy .. so what kind of product would be for for that ?
(not exactly , just an idea of what it means)
Answer:
Hmm, you must be a senior in college then. I was an electrical engineering major, and my senior design "product" was a surge protector. If you are an english or history major, your "product" is usually a paper, a senior thesis. Are you an astronomy major or physics major? For a physics major, it could be a laboratory experiment that you design or a software program that you write to compute some sort of astrophysical data. How about a program that will calculate all the times in the near future that you will be able to spot mercury, and where it will be in the sky?
