But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists

I would have to agree just due to that fact that it is a double standard. I mean we do kinda have our own white hollidays.. We do have the Presidents b-days... ONly white guy's. So I guess that MLK Jr's is kinda there way of having a Black Pres. Good for them. As far as the other stuff. You have a good point.
The politicians stand to get MORE votes by siding with the higher population and by letting others "vent out" their frustrations on others appears to be why it has gone like this as it didn't occur before the civil rights movement. It is obvious that they did little to help ANY minority!
I do not disagree that there has been blatant oppression, I only think it was manipulated by platformed campaigning practise.

Good question! I think the difference is that America is run by white people. Im not being racist look at the facts. The majority if not all of Congress, Presidents, and Powerful MOgals are all white. They are behind alot of things. Yes you have some Major high money making and powerful black people, but the majority is white. There is still racism running rampant and holding those of us of color down! Im not saying all of us. We do get pretty stupid sometimes, we make stupid choices and we allow stupid things to happen in our own communities but Whites a s a whoile never ever experience racism. NEVER EVER! Nor in history have they been heavily oppressed and/ or enslaved. We march because there are stigmas on us. Stigmas put there by racists masters and Slave owners. Black People hating on themselves! Black people feling they arent good enough so they dont try to over succeed. We have to have Parades and marches in order..IN hopes of inspiring our youth and our felow people. We are strong we are smart we can do better than Hi HOp gang banging BS, Drugs, or whatever comes in our lower incomed areas. We try to show unity and hopeful the white community will understand this and respect it. Dont look at it as though we get to do things yall cant. Its so much more than that, we are trying ot erase years of self hatred. You dont feel ugly because you aint so light skinned, some of unfortunatly do. Unfortunatly those of us who are lighter seem to succeed more in this world. SOme samll children feel ugly just because they are dark skinned. As far as schools people should be able to get an education period, there should be nothing such as a Black College or a white college. But the reason there is Black colleges is because at one point (not to long ago) People of color were being rejected left and right from colleges that were all white or predominantly white, and not because of their grades. I hope we as a nation move upwards and be as diverse as we all claim to be.

it is because whites are the majority. even though there arent officially white colleges. there are still colleges with all white people. BET isnt only for black people as there are white people and Asian people on 106 & Park. It is just media that most black people are interested in. Do you get my point?

Hello David.I do belieave you are mistaken.The majority of the united states government is dominated by Jews,the same with the entertainment industry.But don't just take my word for it.Research it.
I would like to address this. Now, let me start this off by saying that when I speak of white people, I am not speaking of every, single white person in this country. But I say go ahead and have your WET, your United Caucasian College Fund, Your NAAWP. Hell, have the Klan. I don't care. But all we ask is that you do not teach hate against another race just because of the tint of their skin. White people are so caught up with other races that they lose sight of what is really going on with themselves. Teach your children self-love and love for others. But don't build yourselves up by tearing someone else down
Everyone seems to forget that the reason we had all these groups was because the whites wouldn't allow us in there's. Blacks weren't allowed in white colleges so we started our own. The NAACP was created to advance the situation of African-Americans because of what the whites did. The UNCF was also created to help blacks pay for college since the whites wouldn't help us. We have to march for our race because of what whites have done to us. Before you criticize people of color for having our own colleges, entertainment and marches, look at what you did to us. Learn your history or are you SO wrapped up in your white pride that you fail to realize that the white race has not been kind to other races?
Racism goes both ways. Sounds more like jealousy. But, the way the question is worded, it does sound racist.
