Question:
Heres the deal. Right now i go to a small private school near home bc i work as a sales rep. and foot my own way thru school. I pay my bills with my on money and loans cover tuition. I would like to transfer to a public school where tuition is much less but that would require me to quit my job or greatly reduce my work time. I get paid very well for my age!! My supervisor would like me to work their permanently even after school, but the college close by doesnt have anything i really would like to do. I just chose something so that i could still work. Should i move and find another job and enjoy college and take the loss and maybe work there during the summer? Or should i stay here just to stay with the job? I am a sales rep for a trucking dealership. Private school WITH scholarships i pay 10500 a year. WITHOUT scholarships at the public school, 4000 a year!! Even with the pay cut i would still take out less money in loans to cover EVERYTHING, not just tuition.
Answer:
Go. Enjoy school, learn a lot, branch out and try new things. If you have good sales skills, you can get a job near your new school. Don't pin yourself down before you've had a chance to experience anything different.
Good luck.
if the school you are at is better than the one you want to trasfer to,
then do not transfer...
education es an investment, and it does pay off...
if the public school you are considering is better... it has a major of your liking that the other one does not have. ... then go for it.
it will pay in the long run
Look, go to the best school you can get accepted to...
even if you cannot afford it...
at the end, it is the best investment you will ever make.
