College scholarships for for texas victims of sexual assault or family violence?

Question: I'm advocating for someone who is looking for help with scholarships, Does anyone know of anything that would involve this?

Answer:
From what I have seen, I don't think they exist. What people do is raise money for the particular person. I seriously doubt some will offer a 10,000 scholarship and the criteria you have to be a victim of sexual abuse. There are local centers that provide people some assistance to get back on their feet. Start there.
