I want to go to a community college. i am not sure what to study. what are the best paying two year programs.?

Question:
i am currently in western michigan, what job areas have high or growing employment numbers.

Answer:
Go to your college and talk to an advisor. They have a couple of different tests you can take that help identify your interests and things you would be good at based on your personality, strengths, and weaknesses.

They're not hard, all opinion type questions, so you can't get them wrong, and they have some really good ideas. If the college can't help you for some reason check with your local JobLink or Goodwill offices, they usually have something like this to help since they also provide job training.

You can also check these web sites. They have all sorts of career information and suggestions. They are from the Florida Department of Education web site, but you don't have to be in Florida to use them.

The fastest growing industry anywhere in the country is healthcare. Get a job in medicine (physician's assistant, LPN, RN) and you are set for life.
I would say the best paying job with tons of flexibility is nursing. You can get your AAS and become a nurse. Once your become registered you can do anything from patient care, travel nurse, or educator to a desk jobs.
