i recieved a letter from college consultant inc which states that they assist the funding of college. They basically fill out the applications,offer sat/act prep, and get scholarships for students. They are hosting a workshop in my area and invite me to attend. Im skeptical yet they have a BBB reliability stamp on the letter. Has anyone assisted these meetings and is everything free and helpful? Thank you

I am not familiar with this organization. They could be helpful, but be wary of anyone who wants to charge a fee for filling out your FAFSA. The name means "FREE application for federal student aid" and the Department of Education is very serious about it being free. They will go after anyone that tries to charge you a fee for doing the FAFSA.
This doesn't apply to other paperwork but I'm not sure what else you'd need. maybe the SAT prep is worth it, but only you can decide that.
