How should we celebrate a year 7 graduation ?

Question:
My daughter has worked very hard at primary school. She was awarded a scholarship at a college for her academic endeavour and contribution to school life. Many of her friends wont be going to be to the same high school. As a gift Iwould like my daughter to have a party or a get together.Year 7s have a dinner but Iwould like this to be a special occasion.Any ideas for celebrations?Should it be at home or an activity elsewhere? The graduation is in summer.

Answer:
you could do it like a fancy dinner somewhere or a small cruise on a catamaran (sunset cruise)
or do a prom theme at a hotel where you rent a space
or you could have a trip to a waterpark or amusement park or a play or musical
i guess it all depends on how much you want to spend
hi

I think you can give them oil painting from their photo means turn their photo in oil painting it will create nice impression on them.

Capture that special moment.turn it into a masterpiece that will last forever!

i suggest u to look at this site i think it will help u,

A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.

They have many samples here http://www.portrait2000.com/samples.htm...

The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.
I would keep it small. Allow her to invite a few friends (3 - 5) take them out to lunch or dinner (somewhere inexpensive but fun) and then to a movie. Alternatively allow your daughter to have a slumber party with dvds and popcorn and a fun breakfast like pancakes.
People are beginning to make small things milestones nowadays. I know gradeshcool kids who have limousines for birthdays!!

Keep the small milestones with a pat on the back or the big milestones won't mean much later.
A good idea would be to have a sleepover and invite your daughter's close friends. They would definately enjoy that. It would be nice to have a cake! (Dairy Queen! haha.) Maybe they could watch movies or go to the beach earlier in the day...
You could let her throw a small party for her and her closest friends. You wouldn't need much. Just order pizza, throw out some chips and soda or tea and punch what ever the kids are into. Give them a boom box and get out of the way. Just kidding.

at that age, they will do most of the work themselves. put up a volley ball net or bad mitten the kids will probably just wonder. It will give them one last chance to have a lot of fun before that separate.

don't worry about goodie bags or all that hoopla. They are just to old for all that.

burgers and hot dogs are pretty popular to with kids. That is what I did when my son had his seventh grade graduation. heck they played football, baseball, volley ball, and listened to music every one had a blast. We have a small pool we set it up and some of the kids swam in the pool while others sat and talked.

I am fixing to have to do another one for my daughter she already told me what she wanted to do so it will be easy.

She wants to have a boy girl party, and then a all girl sleep over so that is pretty simple.
Your daughter sounds amazing and you should take credit for some of that. A party is a fun idea! I think it would be fun to take a group of her friends to the beach or pool. After that, order pizza and sodas at your home. After they clean up, serve a graduation and congratulations cake. Congratulate all the girls. You can maybe theme the party with "your future is bright" on the invites--hence the sun. Maybe get a sun on the cake and put that saying on it. Get them sunglasses for favors. Let them sleep over and play music and let them paint their nails... An entire day that will never be forgotten. Your daugther will thank you that not only is she smart, but her popularity stock will skyrocket!!!
she's 7. congratulate her, take her to a park and let her play. she's going to have a long, rough road if she thinks she needs to be constantly celebrated for something every single child will go through.
