College scholarships?

Question:
Anyone have any suggestions for resources i.e., different scholarships that can be applied for? Any web links that are really good? Thanks!

Answer:
There are three different source types where you can locate and locate college scholarships.

First, FAFSA.ed.gov will enable you to receive college and federal assistance.

Second, the college financial aid office lists scholarships from outside sources such as scholarships from private organizations and companies.

Third, there are free membership scholarship searches available on the web. Some are updated on a regular basis.

Finally, I recommend applying well before the deadline. I also recommend reviewing the organization's website before completing the essay. This will help give you a feel for the organization before completing the essay.

Good luck!
