When you go to a private university do you usually get more financial aid than at a public 2 yr college?
Question:
I am worried that I will not have enough to still take a full load of courses.
I really apprectiate any information you could help me with.
Answer:
Yes, private universities give out more financial aid than public schooling. what you need to do is give your school all the necessary information to calculate your need. Private Universities usually give financial aid to at least 70 percent of needy students. If you fall into one of these low income students than you are in good shape, but if youre a millionaire, don't expect any financial aid. I hope you have already filed for a fafsa and the california college grant thingy. Because that definitely helps. if not, contact your financial aid and talk to them about your situation. Key point is communication...
good luck.
All need base financial aid are pretty much the same for private and public university. It really all depend on the financial aid office but comparing my financial aid package ( private university ) to my brother ( public university ), the need base financial aid are about the same ( a little more or less but not a BIG difference ). What's different is the university awarded scholarships. Mine reflect the private university tuition while his reflect the public university tuition.. In private university, what the grant doesn't cover they just offer you gov't sponsered student loanS.... Hope I help & good Luck at the new university =)
There are many factors that determine the amount of financial aid a school ill offer. Private schools usually have more money to offer for scholarships and grants than State schools. Your academic standing will also effect the amount of scholarship offered. Your family's financial situation may have an effect. All you can do is fill out the FAFSA form and see what the college offers you.
CAVS ARE GONNA WIN! 1.Because the Spurs suck. 2. They are a VERY dirty team. 3. Tony Parker will be to focused on Eva Longoria. 4. In the regular season the Cavs are 2-0 versus them (That does make a difference). 5. There is lots of hate towards the spurs and they won't be able to handle it. 6. LeBRON James is going to play like he did in game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals (48 points). 7. When the Spurs wake up in the morning and watch the SportsCenter reporters talking about how the Cavs and how they won game 1 their morale will go down. 8. After the Cavs win game 1 the Spurs will be mad (especially Robert Horry) and he'll start beating up his team mates. RISE UP CAVS! Long live the King!!!
You are welcome for the information I gave you!
