I really need your advice!?!?!!??

Question:
Okay. I am a senior in high school and as you know (or not) I will be applying for colleges this year. To those who are currently in college or have been to college. When should I start to apply. Of course, I don't want to wait to the last minute, but I want to wait till I retake the ACT. Should I just apply and send them my scores after I retake it or should I just do it all together. And can you all please give me any other advice on college, scholarships, etc.,

Answer:
Most Colleges stop accepting applications in November, but then there are others that wait until Spring. I would suggest you start working on your applications and sending them in, but check the deadlines for the ones you're applying to before you get too stressed out.
Go to your councilor in your school, they have up dated forms or web sites.
You apply in the month of November. Of course u should in November and not wait. Just put on ur application ur ACT score and that u will be retaking the ACT in X month. Pretty much a lot of ppl I know did that. I did that too. They have like a question on it on the appication like "Will u be retaking the test. If so when?" And u fill in the bubble. When u take ur ACT, the test will have a form in the back asking u which colleges u want to send it to. Put in the code for the college (the booklet will have the code for all the colleges) and ur done.

For scholarships, I suggest www.fastweb.com. Also, if u do lots of volunteering activities, u are bound to find some scholarships there.

In college, u will have lots of fun, but remember to study EVERYDAY. Study at least 2 hours everyday. Do not slack off, but remember to have some fun or else u will be so bored and sick of school. For me, I studied a lot everyday because of my major. Find random places to review material in ur head, like when ur sittin on the crapper, showering, brushing ur teeth, etc. Schedule time for play. For example, my prof said that when he was in college, he NEVER studied on Fri and Sat nights. He partied. Study groups are the worst. U will not accomplish anything in them. For me, I usually go on AnswersRoom.com for fun, look for questions that have to do with wat I'm studying, then answer them. Teaching someone else is the best way to learn. Avoid the freshman fifteen by eating healthy! I know it's going to be hard, but u can do it. I didn't gain a single pound in college. If u don't like exercising, just walk a lot and carry heavy books with u. That way, ur workin out ur arms and legs! Also, the more u study, the less weight u gain since ur glucose will be sent to ur brain. ha, come to think of it, that's prolly why I didn't gain any weight. I studied like 24/7. Don't cram either. It doesn't work. But studying too much too early either doesn't help u remember it later. Just study a bit everyday and review at the end of the week. U will have fun. Remember to be nice to everyone cuz u will need them. Make sure each of ur professors know ur name (just ask them a question one day or go to their office hours) cuz u they will give u the better grade if ur grade is borderline. Some professors are asses and u can't avoid their attitude. It's best to check what professor u'll be getting on www.ratemyprofessor.com Pretty much everyone I know checks their professor's ratings on that website before choosing classes. Trust me it will save u so much grief. Also, don't myspace of facebook so much! It's wastes soooooo much time. If u watch a lot of tv now, just pick like 3 shows u like to watch them that week. Find ways to relax and have fun in between studying, but don't do it by watching tv. U will watch more than u will have wanted. Good luck!
