My husband and his sister has been in this country since?

Question:
they were 2 and five they went to school here since kindergaten, they came from nigeria with there mother to visit there father in school here in texas , they did not even know they were not citizens untill my husband the oldest child turned 18 and hd to decline a full scholarship to a college which was for citizens only , we have been giving all kinds of money out to lawyers trying to gain citizenship it seems as though they take money and do nothing, what the best thing to do we are in PA

Answer:
Just keep speaking with attorneys.. or someone from the immigration dept. Since you two are married, I doubt anyone will deport your husband..
Good luck! :)
Talk to the lawyers, they know the most about the situation.
Yours is one of the reasons that I get so upset about illegal immigration. Your husband is trying to do the right thing and the INS will not help but they seem to turn a blind eye if he had walked over from Mexico.
I am sorry about your situation. Unfortunately the government treats all illegals the same. They don't care about the humanity of any case.
two wrongs don't make a right. Don't blame the USA or the government or expect us to pay for your your mistakes not taking care of your children's citizenship.

If the lawyer can offer no legal avenue, then they are subject to deportation like everyone else.
