Harvard just changed their acceptance regulations and monetary needs/family contributions. So whomever told you that Harvard gives nothing... is full of it! They wanted to open their school to more students (especially those of multi-cultural or varying financial statuses).
ie. If your family makes X amount of dollars, you as a student pays Y amount.
All schools give the Federal Pell Grant, and Federal Aid through the FAFSA. You can find it on fafsa.edu.gov Or look at fastweb.com
