- Submit your FAFSA in Jan. of Senior year (this is early but early is good!). Tip: submitting early makes you eligible for more money, you don't have to wait until you have all the info. to submit, you can guess and fix later online, they will process by first submission date
- Know what colleges you are interested in and their admissions criteria. You can even be in contact with academic advisors who can aid you in the process of applying. You can call the schools 1-800 # and ask to talk with an acadmic advisor
- Work on your writing skills and prepare ideas for you college enterance essays. You can go to websites and see what essay was for this year to give you an idea how to prepare.
- Build relationships with teachers so you will have some good reccomendation letters. This can make or break an admission, especially if you are lacking in some other area.
- Join school clubs, community organizations, sports teams, or do volunteer work. This will give you a competative edge.

Nothing..
study hard and make sure your grades and Test scores are high. The higer the better when it comes to scholarships. Also be sure to take the ACT too if it is money you need don't rule out any test score.
You have an interesting mix of schools there, the University of Michigan is a far better school than all the rest of them, one of its strengths is psychology. U need to get a 1300, and a 3.5 gpa, top 10% at the minimum to get into Umich. to qualify for scholarships, u'd have to be really exceptional, 1500+ sat at least with some good extra-curriculars.
This will get you started. I hope you find it helpful.
