Does anyone have any tips for attaining scholarships or educational grants not included in the FASFA Program?
Question:
Answer:
There are free membership scholarship search websites out there listing private organization and company scholarship program out there. I recommend applying before the deadline and paying attention to the organizaion's website before applying because it can help you with the interview or the essay portion of the essay in knowing what they are looking for. Unfortunately, all of this takes time. I recommend talking to the college financial aid office to see if they can help you, too. Good luck!
just apply.
Doing the SAT is a good way to get a scholarship
I would say go to the schools financial aid person and talk to them.
if you can't get help there, try a local college and talk to them. You can also go online and do google and type in financial aid.
i hope your health gets better and that you get money for school, college is so important.
Try fastweb.com or google for scholarships and other financial aids. Contact your college financail aid advisors and see what they say. Sometimes schools offer add'l aid. It won't hurt to ask. I'm sorry to hear about what's been happening to you. Hope you get better soon. Good Luck!!
Are you able to work part-time? That would be better than nothing. For scholarships you can go to the library and look through the scholarship books there. I think you are more likely to get scholarships that you find in those books than the ones you find on the internet because there are fewer applicants.
Good Luck.
