Does a scholarship mean automatic admission into college?

Question:
If a college offers a scholarship and your are qualified for it does that mean automatic admission into the college?

Answer:
Not necessarily. I've seen several times where a student was offered a scholarship and admitted into the program (dance, art, music, theatre, engineering, etc.) and not into the college. I've also seen students receive department scholarships and not be admitted into the college. And all students must apply for admission, regardless of what coach, instructor, program, recruited them.
i think you are automaticley admitted into college with a certain grade point average you ahve to maintain,,,, but if your really not sure contact your college
I think it's safe to say that it does; after all, they are paying you to come, right?
absolutely not. however if you received a scholarship, you won't have trouble getting into most schools
