Would college/high school students pay $10 to have their papers proofread?

Question:
I'm an editor/writer with 10 years experience in newspapers. I want to start a side business proofreading papers for students, checking for grammar and spelling, and editing for brevity and clarity. I think it could make a big difference in final grades. What do you think of the idea?

Answer:
It depends on the person and the paper. If a person really cares about their grades, they would probably do it. But most young adults don't really care. If they student is confident in their paper (which is frequently the case), they may not bother to have it proofread. On the other hand, some may think their paper is terrible and would like it. I'm a freshman in college, so I can relate to the question. As an English major, I believe your idea is great. However, I'm not sure how well it would succeed in action.
sounds great
I'm going to be a college student next year, and that price sounds a bit steep to me. Keep in mind that most college students are eternally poor; most of their money goes to tuition and books, and to make matters worse, they spend the rest on entertainment. I would never pay that much for someone to proofread anything, no matter how important it was to my grade.
I would like that.and explain why it`s wrong.
