A simple look at racism?
Question:
You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "Gringo" and you think it's OK.
But when I call you, "******", "Kike", "Towelhead", "Hoggy" or "Sand-******", "Camel Jockey", "Beaner" or "Chink" you call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.
If we had WET(white entertainment television) we'd be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists.
If we had white history month, we'd be racists.
If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am white.
I am proud.
And i say it loud.
But, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Well now, I'm white and proud to be who I am, what I am, and of the things I have accomplished in my life. I'm proud to have the friends I have, yet I'm ashamed of the fact that I have witnessed my friends become victims of racism. As long has you are on the lookout for this "reverse" racism that you are espousing, you'll find it. My advice is look past it, and keep yourself focused on the future, try becoming friends with these people and see for yourself why they feel what they do. You are viewing them as a group. Time to get to know the individual. You'll find they are a lot more like you than you realize.

Firstly, there is no simple way to look at racism I think we can all agree on that.
Now... as for those names you've been called in the street, you've listed four derogatory names for Caucasians but you listed more for the rest of us (I suspect you could go on & on)
does that tell you something?
As for the ghetto being the most dangerous place... I have never lived in a ghetto and I suspect, neither have you, but history has shown that wherever there are people that live on the razor's edge ther will be hightend emmotional states of all varieties. Just check your local trailer park.
Yes we do have all those holidays, funds & the like which you should support because we don't want an ignorant,uneducated & historically irrelevant populace... do we?
I think we do have 'white entertainment television' every station but BET. (oh... and not for nothing but BET is for you too my friend!)
I believe you have had a few organizations to advance the white race... and I think most of us are dissatisied with their approach & wardrobe choices. Nuff said!
And to end... you already have all the answers you need you just don't want to believe them.
